Recently released from prison after serving time for the death of her twin sister, Parker meets a handsome guy. If I were to describe Kill Me Once, Kill Me Twice in one word it would be ‘captivating.’ The story weaves together past and present seamlessly. The characters are described so well. So you can easily see them in your mind and become engrossed in their world. You feel as if you could be a part of their lives. It’s hard to believe that Kill Me Once, Kill Me Twice is a debut novel; there are very few books out there that rival it. In summary, if you enjoy fiction with a touch of reality – or reality with a touch of fiction. Then you should read Kill me once, kill me twice. The last thing I will say is don’t just take my word for it and go read it for yourself!

If you’re a fan of The Preppy Handbook (the 80s cult classic), you will love to KILL ME ONCE, KILL ME TWICE. It has all of your favorite themes: seersucker dress shirts with sailboats on them, suspenders that don’t even match (because you can never have too many). Unnecessarily oversized bowties, and tortoiseshell glasses. So thick they make your eyes look like an anime character—oh wait. That’s just me. I guess some things never change. Then again, when it comes to fashion fads and society’s obsessions with class distinctions and how we express our individuality through clothing or accessories—not much has changed in a century.

The author of Kill Me Once, Kill Me Twice was born and raised in South Carolina. In 2004 she moved to Texas to earn her undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences. She then went on to graduate school at The Ohio State University where she earned her Masters’s and Ph.D. in Genetics. Currently, she works as a lab technician and spends her free time writing science fiction novels. Her favorite genre to read is Fantasy but will occasionally read Sci-Fi or Dystopian stories if they are well written.
