Readers will follow Singaraja’s journey throughout time and space as he interacts with humans, aliens, and machines.

And Shall Machines Surrender is one of those stories that makes you think about what it means to be human. While reading, I found myself questioning and challenging my idea of humanity and creation. With provocative topics such as death, violence, and suicide, And Shall Machine Surrender is not for everyone. However, if you are looking for a thought-provoking story that will challenge your preconceived notions of what it means to be human and/or machine. Then I highly recommend And Shall Machine Surrender.
About “Benjanun Sriduangkaew” the author of “And Shall Machines Surrender”
Benjanun Sriduangkaew is a Thai writer who began publishing in 2011. The author’s gender and ethnic background have been brought up in multiple interviews, which is discussed at length in an essay titled On Becoming Benjanun found on Fantasy & Science Fiction Magazine’s website. In that essay, it is revealed that her parents are ethnically Chinese. But had to relocate from Thailand to settle into Singaporean life. Which consequently means that she was raised bilingually. She attended Singapore Polytechnic and claims to enjoy reading more than anything else. She went on to gain a Bachelor of Arts degree at Leeds University and a Masters of Philosophy from Aberystwyth University for Creative Writing under Professor Michael Collings.
