Marie wants to see Rome before she passes away. On their way to Italy, they stop in Paris where Baccio meets with another cancer patient named Gary. Together they travel throughout Europe until Gary dies from his illness. After burying Gary, Baccio and her daughter arrive in Rome. Bethany dies on April 2nd in St Peter’s Basilica. This novella reminds us that life is short and should be lived with meaning and joy as every day you could be gone from it forever

Liz Johnson was born in Michigan, USA. And She has lived a large portion of her life in small towns throughout Michigan. She grew up with a passion for reading, writing, and creating. The summers were spent swimming and playing at the beach while winters were full of reading (and being forced to write) lots of paper book reports! With an imagination that never seemed to be quenched, she spent much time dreaming up characters as well as making sure they had all their props and costumes just right. Those who know her would probably agree that she hasn’t grown out of that little girl with her head in a fantasy world yet. But what does change is where those characters get to visit. Most often now those imaginary worlds take place on computer screens rather than paper pages!
