I always love it when one of my favorite authors releases a new book and Past Perfect was no exception. I loved that we got to revisit characters from earlier books in Steel’s oeuvre. Especially since it brought back a well-loved family that had been missed since Heaven and Earth. I don’t want to give away any spoilers. But I will say that Past Perfect is not your typical romance novel, with an unexpected twist at the end. That being said, if you are looking for a quick read that has all of Danielle Steel’s hallmarks (great storytelling with intricate plotting and captivating characterization), then you should check out Past Perfect. I don’t think you will be disappointed!
