Reviews About “Shantaram” by “Gregory David Roberts”
When I first picked up Shantaram, I wasn’t sure if it was going to be my cup of tea. When you read a novel about a convict traveling through and eventually ending up in Bombay (now Mumbai). Your expectations are probably pretty low. But just one chapter in, and Shantaram became one of my favorite books of all time. This book will pull you in from page one. You won’t want to put it down! The story follows Linbaba (the convict) through his journey as he leaves Australia behind. And moves to India to live among slum-dwellers and other exiles. His life is not always easy, but he has had many interesting adventures along his way.
