At first, I thought I was just not going to like Catching Jordan because of my lack of interest in sports. Surprisingly, I really enjoyed reading about a girl who likes football instead of shopping and doing other girly things. For a YA novel, it is pretty funny too. The main character may be quick-witted, but she has some serious commitment issues when it comes to relationships and being with one guy in particular (Jordan). Throughout most of her high school years, she has had a crush on him, but he always seems to have eyes for someone else. She tells herself that as long as they are friends there will be no pressure and everything will be okay until…well you’ll have to read it and find out what happens!
