Exciting and interesting read, which takes you back to WWII. What could have been a simple romance is instead a heartfelt story with complexity, depth, and soul…an intimate look at two people struggling to find love in an unforgiving world. This was such a fun book for me to read! I loved seeing that their relationship blossomed into more than just physical attraction… The suspense in certain parts had me on edge and I couldn’t put it down! The love that grew between them wasn’t an easy one and these two characters were some of my favorites from any series or standalone novel that I’ve read so far! Overall it was a great book! There were times when I laughed, cried, got angry, and had those butterflies in my stomach moments; overall it was very entertaining!
