The Everything Store by Brad Stone follows the rise of Amazon, from its founding in 1994 by CEO Jeff Bezos to the release of Kindle and beyond. The book takes you behind the scenes at Amazon to reveal what makes the company tick. And how it grew into one of the biggest online retailers in the world.
Overview About The Everything Store by Brad Stone
Bezos didn’t invent e-commerce, nor did he invent online retailing. He simply improved upon existing methods and business models to create a much better experience for consumers. It was a combination of simplicity and focus—an approach that remains central to Amazon today. This book is easy to read with insightful insights into how Bezos built one of the biggest companies in history. If you have an interest in technology or entrepreneurship, I’d highly recommend it.
Reviews About The Everything Store by Brad Stone
The Everything Store was a fascinating look into one of our generation’s most successful technology companies, from its humble beginnings to its current position as a household name. As someone with very little personal knowledge about Amazon beyond what I had seen on their website and heard in passing. I appreciated all of Brad Stone’s historical background and insight into Jeff Bezos’ business strategies. If you have any interest in technology, business, or even books (Amazon is also one of my favorite places to shop for books). The Everything Store is definitely worth a read!
