Love You Forever was written by Robert Munsch and illustrated by Sheila McGraw in 1986. The book tells the story of how a mother will love her child no matter what he or she does throughout his or her life; even if he or she becomes old and gray-haired. The story is told through simple rhymes, and on each page, there are pictures of the boy at all different ages, from toddler to old man, but his mother always has the same loving expression as she embraces him in some way
Overview About “Love You Forever” by “Robert Munsch”
Love You Forever is a children’s book that tells a mother’s story of her childhood growing up. The beginning and end are about a young boy and his mother, with illustrations showing their time together as he grows from an infant to adolescence. But during those years, there are three pages about when he was still a baby. These pages have no illustrations – instead, words describe what is happening in each picture. They talk about how much his mother loves him (and will love him) no matter what he does, no matter where he goes, or how old he gets.
