Written by Sally Thorne, The Hating Game is the story of an assistant to the director Lucy Hutton. And her growing romantic feelings towards co-worker Joshua Templeman. The book begins with Lucy and Josh playing their juvenile game of hating each other from across the office. Battling it out to see who can make the other person do the most ridiculous thing. When they are paired up together on an important project. They realize that they may have been taking their rivalry a little too far. And that maybe they should try to work together after all…
Overview About “The Hating Game” by “Sally Thorne”
The Hating Game is a romantic comedy of errors set in New York City. The name comes from an interview question. Where you’re asked to name one thing you love and one thing you hate. Our two main characters, Lucy and Joshua, have known each other since they were young children; they are both trying to climb the corporate ladder at their workplace and neither will budge on their way up. This has made them into rivals over time, even though they do not notice it themselves or accept it. However, when both of them answer a phone call from outside of work about an apartment for rent at 35th street that is for a single person only, things suddenly change between them. Almost as if there was never any animosity at all!
Review About “The Hating Game” by “Sally Thorne”
I decided to write my review of The Hating Game by Sally Thorne as an e-book download. And also give a brief synopsis of what I thought about it. In my first novel, The Hating Game, I do my best to bring you in on page one and not let go until you’ve finished reading. This is because I hope you’ll fall in love with Cadence and Josh as much as I did while writing them! They’re both lucky enough to work at a large publishing house, together they create most of their own tasks but they don’t get along well. As boss and assistant, they can’t stand each other. However, when company takeover rumors are swirling around the office… things become complicated…
