About “Jocko Willink” the author of “Extreme Ownership”
Jocko is a retired Navy SEAL officer and was part of SEAL Team Three. After retiring, he co-founded Echelon Front, a leadership consulting firm with Leif Babin, who also co-authored Extreme Ownership. He has served as an instructor at his alma mater The Citadel and at West Point Academy where he taught strategy to USMA cadets. His other honors include US Army Ranger Hall of Fame Inductee 2012 and Iron Mike Award 2010 for best Ranger graduate in Class 29 (he was #4 overall). In 2015 Jocko published Way of The Warrior Kid which focuses on helping kids develop discipline and focus through martial arts training.
