I was just looking for something new to read and I came across Master Baker. It had great reviews, so I thought I’d give it a try. I loved it! It’s full of romance, action, and suspense. The ending took me by surprise; it was something that never crossed my mind while reading until then. The story is told from multiple characters’ perspectives which is something else that drew me to read it; some books are written in a first-person narrative only and they have their charm, but there’s also a lot to be said about multiple perspectives!

Pippa Grant (born on 3 October) is a British author. Her first novel, Master Baker, was published in 2013 and became an instant bestseller on Amazon. She writes cozy mysteries under her real name, Pip Ballantine. She has also written several short stories and novellas for an interactive fiction web series based around Sherlock Holmes called An Adventure in Time and Space, as well as for anthologies of original science fiction and fantasy stories. When she’s not writing or being an obsessive Sherlockian, she spends time with her partner in crime, Felicia Day (creator of The Guild).
