Where The Road Takes Me is a great book written by the young adult author, Jay McLean. I was excited to receive an advanced copy of this book and read it as soon as possible. When I first started reading Where The Road Takes Me, I did not think that I would be able to finish it because of my busy schedule but once I started reading it, I couldn’t put it down! Where The Road Takes Me is about a teenager named Autumn who has to deal with her mother’s addiction and how she copes with everything in her life when she doesn’t have her father there for her.

Jay McLean is a daughter of Australian singers and moved to Nashville when she was 18. She released her first single in 2010, followed by her debut album. However, her first hit came in 2015 with Til I Get Over You. She has since released three more singles and toured worldwide to promote them. Her newest single, Burning Like Fire, is predicted to become another big hit.
