Megan is a mental health advocate and has written three books: Lost Marbles: Insights into My Life with Depression & Bipolar, Everything Is Horrible and Wonderful: A Tragicomic Memoir of Genius, Mania, Depression, Redemption and Passion and It’s Okay to Laugh (Crying is Cool Too): A Handbook for Raising Teenagers with Depression. She lives in Philadelphia with her husband Matt Rizzo (keyboardist from The Goo Goo Dolls) and their son William.
