About “Frances Hardinge” the author of “A Skinful of Shadows”

Frances Hardinge is an award-winning author whose books include Cuckoo Song, Gullstruck Island, and her novel for adults, The Lie Tree. She also writes as F.E. Higgins and has written two thrillers, Breathes My Name and Perfect Lies. In 2016 she won a Guardian children’s fiction prize with her novel Dustlands.
