Reviews About “Toffee” by “Sarah Crossan”
I was intrigued by Toffee when I first read about it, and even more so after I read a copy. This book will stay with me for a long time to come. It’s a book I wish that I could buy copies of and hand out at every school in my area, both elementary and middle/high school. It’s such an important story! And, it’s also really interesting! So much so that it has me thinking about what all is going on with Ms. Birdley’s character as well as Nina, Toffee, Lucy, etc., since all of them are just as wonderfully depicted as each other. Great stuff from Ms. Crossan and publisher Bloomsbury! Wow! 5 stars!
