I love Christmas! I think the holiday season starts way too early these days, but it’s still my favorite time of year. Even though I don’t have any children, this time of year still brings with it the nostalgia and excitement of Christmas past and the many Christmas’ to come in the future. The perfect setting that brings this all together is Whitefriars by Elizabeth Camden.
Overview About “Christmas at Whitefriars” By “Elizabeth Camden”
The time has come for Maisie Scott, London society’s most sought-after actress, to return home to Sussex to honor her mother’s last request. She will revive Christmas traditions long left behind. But even that promise of a merry holiday cannot banish thoughts of Tom Mowbray and their scandalous love affair. At least she no longer has to face him over dinner every night as he married one of her closest friends only a few months after she gave birth to his child! Yet even now when they meet, his nearness still sets her heart racing, and she wonders if he’ll ever forgive her…or if they have any chance at all of recapturing what once burned so hot between them.
Reviews About Christmas at Whitefriars By Elizabeth Camden”
Christmas at Whitefriars is a beautifully written story that explores love, loss, forgiveness, and second chances. The characters were very well developed and I found myself rooting for them to overcome any challenges thrown their way. I would highly recommend reading Christmas at Whitefriars. It was my first book by Elizabeth Camden but won’t be my last!
