Told from both Violet and Will’s point of view. We get to see just how connected these two are and how much one person can affect someone else’s life without even realizing it. I adored reading about their love story; although it broke my heart over and over again. I was still fully invested in their relationship. Because I could feel that special connection between them through each page.

Rachael Lippincott is a novelist and screenwriter, and she is also a two-time cancer survivor. She’s written five books in total, but Five Feet Apart is her first foray into young adult literature. It tells the story of Stella Grant who’s spent 17 years of her life being homeschooled. Her dream to attend an exclusive boarding school just came true, and she has nine months left before graduation to make friends and maybe even start something with bad boy Will Newman, who’d do anything to have his ex-girlfriend back.
