Heather Cocks and Jessica Morgan’s The Royal We look at the lives of Kate Middleton and Prince William from their college days to their current role as royalty. Although I’m not into true crime, this book was surprisingly interesting and had me laughing out loud several times. Kate Middleton has since become one of my favorite celebrities because of her refreshing personality and her classy attitude. So I really enjoyed this read. I especially loved the inclusion of Kate’s personal photos (in black and white) in the book. Which made it feel more authentic to me and added an enjoyable visual aspect to the book!

There is nothing like great fanfiction. The drama and wit that appear with any good book make for some really hot scenes, but for fans of Fifty Shades of Grey, we cannot recommend one in particular. If you want something smutty without crossing your boundaries from romance to just out-and-out porn, look no further than The Royal We. This parody is based on Meghan Markle’s relationship with Prince Harry (of course), and it stars their son as they embark on a mission to save Kensington Palace from an evil queen hell-bent on toppling their dynasty.

Heather, a native New Yorker, and former book editor is a mother of three and a food writer. She is currently working on her first cookbook. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband, Nate, and son Charlie. The royal we refer to both authors when either of them writes about themselves; i.e., we are always plural. It does not mean that every pronoun within our posts is actually spelled out as we. It means you should read it as I or you (depending on what’s being said). And no one needs to know that there’s only one of us writing each post (and two of us total). That kind of defeats the purpose!
