Speak No Evil by Liana Gardner is the first book in her Speak series. And it’s about to be released on September 30th, 2017. This novel tells the story of high school senior Callie Cargill and her boyfriend James, who wakes up from a car accident with retrograde amnesia, meaning he cannot remember anything that happened before the accident. From there, his friends, family, and girlfriend all try to help him remember what happened the night of the accident. Meanwhile, he struggles with trying to forget his feelings toward his ex-girlfriend and finding new feelings for his current girlfriend.

I was in awe at every twist and turn in Speak No Evil. I’m a HUGE fan of murder mystery/thrillers, and for me to get that obsessed about one… well it’s saying something. I liked it so much that I just pre-ordered the author’s second book Don’t Look Back. Like with any really good story, while you’re reading it you don’t want to put it down and walk away – or else you’ll miss out on something awesome. That’s exactly how I felt while reading Speak No Evil.
About “Liana Gardner” the author of “Speak No Evil”
Liana Gardner (born 17 May 1972) is a contemporary British poet, songwriter, and author from Reading, Berkshire. She has published three poetry collections and one novel as of August 2015. Her work has been translated into French, German, Polish, and Czech. In 2007 she was nominated for a Pushcart Prize for her poetry collection A Word is Worth a Thousand Pictures. Her poem: I’m The Girl won an award in 2014 for being shortlisted in 16th place at ‘The Poetry Society’s Frank O’Connor International Short Story Award’ 2013 contest.
