Manwhore is a great example of why I love romance novels so much. They’re an escape from reality, but at the same time are completely relatable. Now, some people might be thrown off by how much of a slut Alec is in that first chapter, but it’s important to remember that there are plenty of girls out there just like Chloe — who were not looking for Mr. Right or Prince Charming, but instead were just looking for a good time. And sure, maybe you and I both would have done things differently than Chloe when we got ourselves into that situation, but at least we can all relate to her need to do something — anything — to get our mind off recent heartbreak.
