Recently, I had an opportunity to check out a new YA novel written by author Penelope Douglas called Bully. As some of you may know, I am not a young adult. However, after reading several reviews from fellow readers and friends, I was intrigued enough to give it a try! And as they say in real estate: location! Location! Location!! It’s all about picking your audience (or book in my case). So I picked myself. Some things that stood out right away were: A) The short sweet blurbs at the beginning of each chapter describing what was coming up next. B) Check out that cover!

This is one of those books that will have you glued to your seat and not wanting to put it down. No matter what, keep reading! There are lots of twists and turns and secrets in Bully. You never really know who you can trust or what anyone’s up to until it’s finally revealed near the end. It’s easy to get wrapped up in these characters’ lives and live right along with them. I love all things romance so it was awesome getting to read a great story like Bully especially being set out west. I definitely recommend giving this book a try! With a stunning setting, awesome characters, and fantastic writing it’s sure not to disappoint!
