Jason, along with his boarding school batch, was about to leave for a field trip to Grand canyon. He wakes up on a school bus realizing he has amnesia. Now he doesn’t recognize the girl next to him claiming to be his girlfriend and the boy named Leo, his best friend. Piper (Jason’s girlfriend) has a secret. Her father has been missing for three days, and her striking nightmares reveal that he’s in trouble. Now her boyfriend doesn’t recognize her.
Once they get to the canyon, they were attacked by storm spirits. Their Coach Gleeson Hedge made sure to protect them. Jason, much to his surprise, pulls out a coin that turns into a magical sword and beats up storm spirits, driving them off. As the storm spirits leave, they take Hedge with them. Along with piper, Jason, and Leo. They were whisked away to someplace called Camp Half-Blood. That wasn’t the worst that happens that day. Three of the discover over have superpowers. Piper can charm speak people and make them do what she wants, while Leo can control the flame and we’re not happy. In addition, they came to know that they are demigods.

Some readers can not stop this novel because the story of this novel has so much action. If you like mystery and adventure, this is the best novel for you. This is an interesting and awesome read for kids ages 9 and up. Personally, I love this novel series. Highly Recommended for action readers.
