The author of The boy, the mole, the fox, and the horse is Charlie Mackesy was born in Northumberland in winter. He was working as a cartoonist in the Oxford University Press for the Spectator and book illustrator. The author worked in collaboration with Nelson Mandela and Richard Curtis for some projects like comic relief and the unity series. Charlie was used to living in New Orleans, South Africa, and Southern Africa and drawing paintings. He is also working as co-owner of a social organization in Zambia that helps low-income families to become honey farmers or beekeepers. Now he lives in London.
