Amelia Stone is the central character in the Party Girl. She is being hired by different media channels and paid to interview celebrities in Hollywood. On the instructions of her media house, she visits different glamorous parties, enjoys drinks, and gossip with top stars of Hollywood.
During this job, Amelia Stone takes a great interest in the luxurious lifestyle of Hollywood celebrities. With the passage of time, the desire for such a deluxe and lush push lifestyle arises in her heart. So she starts sitting, gossip and enjoying high-class parties. She starts drinking alcohol, riding on high rides, doing coke in different places, and resultantly faces sexual exploitations by her friends, and roommates. Suddenly, she decides to return to her normal life.
The book Party Girl also describes the journey of Amelia Stone into rehab and recovery. The novel is a great journey of Amelia from self-destruction and sexual life towards self-awareness and normal life. It is very interesting that I read the first 250 pages in just two days. These pages describe the journey of Amelia as a glittering and party girl. But it took me at least 6 days to read the remaining 20 pages, based on the life experience of Amelia returning back to a normal life.
